We do not have any specific network or datacenter maintenance windows. Avoiding downtime on our global Cloud Platform is our highest priority, so we always make every effort to perform maintenance in such a way as to prevent customer impact. That’s why you rarely receive datacenter maintenance notifications from us. In most cases, we can take an entire datacenter down without affecting you. This is extremely easy for us to do on our Cloud DNS service, but also relatively easy for our network solutions too (Cloud Load Balancing, Web Application Firewall etc.) because of the unique way we’ve designed every datacenter or cloud node to replicate every other one. There truly is no single point of failure.
In the rare event that we do need to perform maintenance that will affect you, we will definitely give you as much advance notice as possible, usually at least 7 days.
