Do I have to upload a SSL certificate for SSL to work with Cloud Load Balancing?

The answer depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If you want to enable SSL Offload or SSL intercept so we can inject the source IP (client IP), then YES, you will need to use either the SSL or SSL_TCP protocol with port 443 AND upload and attach an SSL Certificate. If you do not want to upload a SSL certificate and just want us to pass all traffic through to your server without touching the connection, then you will need to use the SSL_PROXY protocol (with port 443) instead or alternatively just plain TCP with port 443. With the SSL_PROXY or TCP, we do not look at the traffic because we can’t! We simply proxy it through our network from the client to the server untouched.
