Cloud Platform Release v25.5.1

Posted on May 17, 2025

It’s been two months since our last update, so today we’ve pushed out a couple new features and a few bug fixes that we have been working on lately. Nothing major, just primarily some housekeeping items.  Below are the brief release notes for your reading enjoyment.

  • Device Webhook Upgrade: If you use the webhook functionality in the networking > devices section at all to send alerts when they are detected as up or down, you’ll appreciate this newly released enhancement! Previously you could only trigger a webhook when the device went DOWN or UP again. Now you can get more granular and choose exactly which regions will trigger a webhook so you won’t be bothered by any region that isn’t important to you any longer.

  • Dashboard Announcements: We improved our announcement section even further from our last release and now allow branded partners to place announcements just for their audience on their dashboard as well.

  • Statistics – All Time Usage: We corrected a bug on the Networking > Statistics page where the “All Time” and usage bar would not properly show if the utilization was very high. This only affected a handful of customers, but the ones who used the most traffic, so we apologize for that!

  • WAF Log Attack Source Map: We corrected an issue with the Attack Source City map where all the cities would not reliably display the red or yellow dots on the map, especially if there were thousands of them. We’ve fixed this now again so you can properly see at a glance where all of that attack traffic is generally coming from.

  • Connection Tab Zoom: We resolved a bug that would occasionally prevent the detail table from loading properly when clicking on the number of connections from one specific IP in the Connection Monitor tab.

  • Compute Tab: We released version 1 ordering capability for Virtual Machines in the Compute > Virtual Machines tab.

  • Networking Package Search: Resellers notified us that the search/filter on the Networking Package Information tab wasn’t properly displaying the desired results, so we corrected this.

  • ACL IP Comment Field: We added a comment field to the Add IP Address section of the new ACL. That way users can give an IP a note when adding it to the ACL for easy future reference.
